Mid-West Moving & Storage was well represented at the 64th Annual International Association of Movers (IAM) Meeting & Expo. Each year, members of our leadership team attend this event to connect with moving professionals from around the world, meet industry vendors, and learn about the latest developments in international moving.
For us, this annual event is about more than networking. It’s an opportunity to build relationships that support the international moving services we provide and bring valuable knowledge back to our team.
Building Connections Across the International Moving Industry
International moves involve coordination between moving companies, agents, transportation providers, and other partners across different countries. Having reliable contacts around the world makes a real difference when coordinating a move from one country to another.
At the IAM Annual Meeting & Expo, our leadership team meets with international moving partners, reconnects with industry peers, and develops new relationships with companies and vendors. These conversations help us expand our network and build connections we can rely on when handling international relocations.
Learning from Industry Leaders and Moving Professionals
The event also offers a full schedule of educational sessions, industry discussions, and resources. Our team comes back with new information, ideas, and perspectives that can be applied to our business. Meeting with other moving professionals gives us the chance to exchange experiences, discuss industry challenges, and learn how others are approaching changes in the international moving industry. It’s a busy week, but one our leadership team looks forward to each year.
Recognized for Our Commitment to the Moving Industry
Our involvement in the moving industry goes beyond attending annual events. Mid-West Moving & Storage is a member of the International Association of Movers and has also been recognized for its community involvement. In 2020, our company received the Mover of the Year award from AIM and Move For Hunger. This recognition reflects our commitment to giving back while staying actively involved in the moving industry.
Staying Connected to Better Serve Our Customers
We appreciate the opportunity to attend the IAM Annual Meeting & Expo year after year. The relationships we build, the vendors we meet, and the knowledge we gain all contribute to how we operate and serve our customers. Thank you to everyone who took the time to meet with our team at this year’s event. We look forward to continuing these relationships and putting what we learned into practice.
